Summary and Talk with Website ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension.

If you choose to upgrade to a premium plan, payment processing is handled by ExtPay, a third-party payment processor. ExtPay may collect:

• Payment transaction information

• Payment method details (processed securely by ExtPay)

We do not directly store or have access to your credit card information. All payment data is handled securely by ExtPay in accordance with their privacy policy.

2. Website Content (Temporary Processing Only)

When you explicitly click the extension icon and request a summary or chat about a web page:

• The extension reads the text content of the current web page
• This content is processed temporarily to generate summaries or answer your questions
• Content may be sent to third-party AI service providers (such as Groq AI) to generate responses
• We do not store, collect, or retain any web page content after processing
• Content is only accessed with your explicit action (clicking the extension icon)

3. Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Your preferences and settings
• Chat history (stored locally only)
• Extension configuration options

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, address)
• Browsing history or web activity tracking
• Location data
• Health information
• Authentication credentials or passwords
• User activity monitoring (clicks, scrolling, keystrokes)

How We Use Information

Payment Information

• Used solely for processing subscription payments
• Managed by ExtPay according to their privacy policy
• Used to verify premium subscription status

Website Content

• Used only to provide the core functionality: generating summaries and answering questions about web pages
• Processed in real-time and not stored after your session ends

This extension is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
